The Shimano SLX BR-M7100 disc brake delivers stable, powerful, and easy-to-modulate braking performance, purpose-built for Cross Country riding. For the first time, Shimano offers an independent SLX brake specifically tuned for XC, combining low weight with precise control.

The 2-piston caliper features a fast and simple hose connection system, while the redesigned BL-M7100 brake lever increases stiffness for more direct feedback and improved braking response. Shimano’s Servo Wave technology reduces free stroke, delivering faster engagement and more usable power without delay.
